For our location in Tübingen, we are looking for our department of Research and Basic Technologies for a
Team Leader Computer Vision & Data Science (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the Computer Vision & Data Science team
- Identify and evaluate future market trends in computer vision, augmented reality and artificial intelligence, and transfer trends and new methods to medical applications
- Contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of data analysis from medical applications using AI/ML and conventional methods
- Continuously develop the team with regard to (agile) software development methods and regulatory requirements for the market launch of software-related products
- Ensure documentation of research projects (reports, invention disclosures, publications, etc.) and communicate results to stakeholders
- Coordinate and maintain contact with internal and external partners and key opinion leaders
Your Skills
- You have a degree in computer science, medical/bioinformatics or a comparable field
- You have several years of experience as a team leader in software-related product development or innovation projects in industrial research
- You are an expert in the fields of computer vision, augmented reality, machine learning/AI and deep learning and enjoy working with future trends and the latest technologies in the field of medical applications
- Ideally, you have knowledge of the necessary regulatory standards and compliance requirements for medical software development, including IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, EU MDR, FDA
- You are familiar with the market launch of AI-related (software) products for medical applications
- Ideally, you have experience in laparoscopic and endoscopic applications
- You have experience in project management in an agile environment
- You have a very good command of English
