New Competence Center Focuses on Sustainability
We will now be producing medical technology instruments for the global market at this location. The new 25,000 m² building meets the criteria of the KfW Efficiency House Standard 40 Plus, setting a new benchmark for the combination of industry and sustainability. Even the photovoltaic system on our new building in Rangendingen is impressive: it has an output of 1 megawatt and covers a third of our energy requirements. Additionally, a biogas plant supports our energy requirements as another source.
A Combination of Environmental, Social, and Economic Values
Planning and construction of the building followed the clear objective of our corporate strategy to combine environmental, social, and economic sustainability in a modern industrial building. To achieve this goal, our company placed particular emphasis on the use of high-quality ecological building materials, intelligent architecture, the installation of renewable energy technologies, and the implementation of numerous measures to create an optimal working environment for our employees.
A Smart Health Management System
As the well-being of our employees is at the focus of attention, we have given social responsibility particularly high priority. Employees benefit from a smart health management system that supports them in their day-to-day work. There are health weeks, a company doctor, a large in-house canteen, relaxation rooms and exercise areas for fitness breaks. With numerous on-site and off-site offerings, we ensure a balance between body and mind.
